(NEW YORK) — Defensive lineman Jason Hatcher signed with the Washington Redskins Thursday.
According to ESPN, it’s a four-year deal worth $27.5 million.
The 31-year-old Hatcher has played his entire eight season NFL career with the rival Dallas Cowboys.
A backup for most of his career, Hatcher became a full-time starter in 2012.
The 6-foot-6, 299-pound Hatcher had a breakout season last year, setting career highs in tackles (34), sacks (11) and forced fumbles (2).
Hatcher’s 11 sacks led the Cowboys and he was named to his first Pro Bowl.
Hatcher played as a defensive end for most of his career but switched to defensive tackle last season when the Cowboys used a 4-3 defense.
