(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Four U.S. Senators toured the Idaho National Laboratory Friday. Republicans Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, John Barrasso of Wyoming, as well as Mike Crapo and Jim Risch of Idaho got some first-hand experience to see the goings-on at the site and a chance to discuss the GOP’s future in expanding nuclear energy. Crapo says his party has a good chance of retaking the Senate this fall, meaning that Murkowski could soon lead the Senate’s Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
