(JACKSON, WY) – A man was killed while skiing at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Monday morning.  Authorities say 31-year-old Peiter Swanson suffered traumatic injuries as a result of a fall in an area known as “The Parachutes.” Emergency responders with the Jackson Hole Ski Patrol attempted life-saving procedures within minutes of the accident. Swanson was then transported to St. John’s Clinic in Teton Village where he died a short time later. Investigators say Swanson was a part-time resident of the region.
