Snooki Pregnant with Second Child

Ethan Miller/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Snooki’s gonna be a new mom, again. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made the announcement on her website Friday that she’s expecting her second child with fiancé Jionni LaValle.
The former Jersey Shore star also criticized tabloids that jumped the gun on announcing her pregnancy.
“I get it, we are on a reality show and share 98% of our lives to our fans, but with this particular situation with expecting a child has to be announced from us personally, not by some tabloid headline trying to make a quick buck,” she said.
The 26-year-old also dismissed claims that she got pregnant on purpose because her best friend and Snooki & Jwoww co-star, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, is also expecting a child with fiancé Roger Matthews.
“Are you out of your minds? …I love Jenni like my big sister, she is everything to me, not fame. I would never try to ‘outshine’ her and like real women, we support each other and always want the best for each other, not beat each other down to see who can be more ‘famous,'” she wrote. “We have a true friendship that I will cherish forever, and getting pregnant just to outshine my best friend is absolutely absurd and disgusting.”
Snooki also defended the fact that she’s having a second child before walking down the aisle. “I’m so glad you are all concerned about our life, but we are doing fine I assure you,” she wrote. “…We are getting there, just waiting for the right time. He is my best friend and trust me, we will be together until death do us part.”
Snooki shared that she still plans to wed LaValle in the fall, after getting engaged in March 2012. She said her second child is due before the wedding. The two are already parents to 1-year-old Lorenzo LaValle.
