Stiletto Murder Case: Ana Trujillo Sentenced to Life in Prison
Published at(HOUSTON) — Ana Trujillo, the woman convicted in the “stiletto murder,” was sentenced Friday to life in prison.
Trujillo, 45, was convicted earlier this week of the bludgeoning death of her boyfriend, Dr. Stefan Andersson of Sweden. Andersson, the 59-year-old University of Houston medical researcher, was struck 25 times in the face, head and arms with the heel of her stiletto shoe.
Trujillo, who claimed she struck Andersson in self defense, did not testify at her trial but took the stand during the penalty phase and reenacted the assault.
