Two Dozen Known Dead from Washington Landslide

GETTY 4114 WashLandslide?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1396344071221Ted S. Warren-Pool/Getty Images(OSO, Wash.) — As the hunt for bodies goes on, the death toll from the March 22 landslide near Oso, Wash., is now at 24, according to Snohomish County Executive Director Gary Haakenson.

As of late Monday, 18 of the dead have been positively identified while the six awaiting identification may be among the missing.

Of those killed, the youngest victim was a 4-month-old baby girl name Sonoah. Other children who perished in the landslide include a 5-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy.

Meanwhile, the number of missing and unaccounted for was revised to 22, down eight from the day before.

Also for the first time, Snohomish County officials released a list of the missing and unaccounted for. They range in age from 2 to 91 years old.
