Chukars Blank Voyagers for Second Shutout of the Season

(GREAT FALLS, MT) — Idaho Falls sent Great Falls crashing down to Earth Sunday with a 4-0 win.  It marked the second shutout of the year for the Chukars.
Brandon Downes are Corey Toups both doubled to begin the game.  Idaho Falls (15-13) would go on to notch a season high seven doubles off Voyagers (16-11) pitching. Chukars led 3-0 after the first half inning.

 Jake Newberry (3-0) got the win after Bryan Brickhouse started the game.  Sam Lewis and Nick Green came in to shut the door on the shutout.  It was the Chukars held the opponent scoreless for the first time since June 27th against Grand Junction.

Idaho Falls concludes the three game series against Great Falls, and seven game road trip Monday.
