ISU Conducts Mars Research at Craters of the Moon

(ARCO, ID) – Geoscience students at Idaho State University are studying volcanic formations at Craters of the Moon to learn more about Mars. Researchers are using equipment and techniques from NASA to better understand how planets are formed. They say studying the old eruptions at Craters will provide them a glimpse into volcanic activity throughout the Solar System. Organizers plan to present their research at a conference for the American Geological Union.
