Nor is it Vice President Joe Biden.

According to The New York Post, Obama wants Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren to replace him in the Oval Office even though she has said somewhat unequivocally that she’s not interested in the job.

However, the president has sent chief political adviser Valerie Jarrett to get Warren to change her mind, feeling that the senator is more in touch with the values Obama has touted in his two terms of office than Clinton.

The Post says that Obama believes Clinton has lost support among the middle class and the poor and Warren will appeal to the party’s left by presenting a strong populist message.

Edward Klein, the Post reporter who wrote the story, has also penned a new book called Blood Feud, which depicts a bitter rivalry between the Obamas and the Clintons.
