Kemp’s agent, Dave Stewart, has expressed his client’s desire to be an everyday player. If the Dodgers can’t make that happen, he would be open to getting traded.

“Whatever they want to do we’re favorable to, as long as it gives him an opportunity to play every day,” Stewart told FoxSports.com. “He’d like to eventually go back to center field. He’s not opposed to right or left. But his hope at some point is to get back to center.”

The trouble with Kemp is that he is still owed $107 million on his contract from 2015-2019. While that number may have been reasonable a few years ago, Kemp has battled injuries in recent seasons that has seen a decline in his production.

Along with Kemp, the Dodgers have talented outfielders like Yasiel Puig, Carl Crawford, Andre Ethier, Scott Van Slyke, and prospect Joc Pederson in the minors.
