Home Prices Jump in Seattle

iStock/Thinkstock(LOS ANGELES) — Home prices are continuing their upward rise in the West.
In San Francisco, the median home price is over a million dollars. And now, Seattle has hit its highest median home price ever at close to $544,000 — that’s far above the previous peak in August of 2007.
The numbers from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service show prices in Seattle are up 17 percent in the past year.
