Kelsey Grammer Wants More Kids

Brad Barket/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Fifty-nine-year-old Kelsey Grammer became a dad for the sixth time last month when his wife Kayte gave birth to their son, Gabriel, but the star says he wants to add more to his brood.

“I can’t imagine not trying for more because it’s been incredible,” he told People magazine. “As soon as [Gabriel] came out, Kayte and I were going, ‘Yeah, let’s do another one.'”

“It’s just this overwhelming gratification of being close to life like this. It just gives you such hope and joy,” he continued. “I’ve never felt more alive or more serenely happy than in the throes of life with these young people. I really enjoy it.”

Although Grammer’s kids range in age from 30 to one month, he’s not rusty when it comes to fathering a newborn.

“Gabriel’s fantastic…He is a lovely kid. He’s been real easy and agreeable,” he said of his latest.

But there’s one person in the family who isn’t taking the new addition well — Grammer’s 2-year-old daughter Faith.

“[Faith] is having a little more trouble than anybody else…she realizes that her world has been chopped in half,” he explained. “This wrinkle, I think, pushed her over the edge a bit.”

The couple married in 2011. He has four other children from previous relationships, including two with ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammar.
