Sofia Vergara Reveals Why She Didn’t Bring Joe Manganiello to the Emmys

(LOS ANGELES) — Sorry, True Blood fans: Joe Manganiello didn’t accompany his new girlfriend, Sofia Vergara, to the Emmys.
However, the Modern Family star explained that his absence was her decision.
“He’s really hot, that’s why I didn’t bring him. He’s too hot, he’s too tall, he takes up a lot of space,” she told E! News during the Emmys pre-show. “He’s too sexy!
Vergara, 42, and Manganiello, 37, were first linked earlier this summer, but the actress shared that they’ve actually been going out for about two and a half months.
“We’re having a lot of fun,” she said. “He’s a really funny guy, which is something that’s really important to me and a really nice guy.”
And complimentary too.
A few weeks ago, the actor gushed about meeting his girlfriend in May, at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. It was there he was photographed checking out her backside.
“Come on! You can’t put that in front of me,” he joked. “I’m not going to apologize. I totally got busted.”
