Two Survive Plane Crash in Rigby

(RIGBY, ID) – Two people walked away from a plane crash in Rigby Friday morning. Investigators say pilot Dale Cresap, and his flight student, Gary Lee, were practicing touch-and-go maneuvers at the Rigby Airport at the time of the crash.
They reportedly lost control of the plane due to a heavy wind gust. The aircraft struck two hangars before colliding with a fence on the west end of the airport.
Neither of the men involved suffered any injuries.
