“Guardians of the Galaxy” Holds Top Spot at Weekend Box Office
Published at(NEW YORK) — Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy maintained its number one spot at the box office this week, bringing in a weekend profit of more than $10 million.
The superhero film, which totaled nearly $300 million since its debut, stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and drama If I Stay rounded out the top three slots, bringing in $6.5 million and $5.75 million this weekend.
Director Luke Greenfield’s Let’s Be Cops jumped from fifth on the list to number four this week, with Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. playing dress-up as law enforcement.
