Jadeveon Clowney Prepares for Robert Griffin III

Cliff Hawkins/Getty Images(HOUSTON) — Texans rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is good to go on Sunday and is looking forward to playing in his first NFL regular season game against the Washington Redskins.
Clowney will have a tough task at hand in running down quarterback Robert Griffin III.
“One of the best running quarterbacks in the league I think,” Clowney said of RG3. “You gotta be ready to contain him in the pocket because he can get out there and cause havoc, he can run pretty fast.”
“I’m just treating it like another game,” the first-overall pick said Thursday. “Just go out there and take one play at a time and just do my assignment.”
Clowney said his entire family will be in attendance, but he isn’t worried about any added pressure during his regular season debut.
“I’m not really nervous, I’m just ready to get to it,” Clowney said. “Something I’ve been waiting for my whole life.”
Clowney missed the final two preseason games, but had three tackles for a loss, a sack and a quarterback hit in the first two games against the Cardinals and Falcons.
