Jimmy Choo Plans to Sell Stock Later This Year

iStock Editorial/Thinkstock(LONDON) — Luxury shoe lovers will soon be able to buy Jimmy Choo stock.
The designer brand plans to sell a quarter stake of its holding company, Jimmy Choo Limited, which could value the company at about $1.1 billion, according to the New York Times.
The public offering of Jimmy Choo is expected in October in London and it would make the brand the first publicly traded luxury footwear brand.
Choo’s rise to fame started on HBO’s Sex and the City. A pair of the brand’s boots could cost you well over $1,000.
