“Occasionally I’m at someone’s house or I’m flipping through the channels and I come upon the scene [in the show] and it makes me feel so good. I think the show stands up and I’m so proud of it,” she told ABC News. “I’d love to come back, but it’s a very high bar and we’d need to get everybody back there and scheduling is difficult for people’s lives but always! I revisit it all the time.”

Cattrall’s co-star Chris Noth, who played the love interest of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw, told ABC News Radio last year that he’d be willing to do a third film as well, only if the story’s a good one.

“I like to do good writing and I don’t have any expectations of what it would be or what it would mean. But good writing is good writing and [executive producer] Michael Patrick King is wonderful at satire and humor,” Noth explained.

Noth even gave suggestions on how to improve on the disappointing film sequel, Sex and the City 2, which premiered in 2010 and saw the four main ladies — Parker’s Bradshaw, Cattrall’s Jones, Kristin Davis’ Charlotte York and Cynthia Nixon’s Miranda Hobbes — trekking to Abu Dhabi for business and pleasure.

“The problem with the second movie I think might have been that they left New York City. New York City is kind of a must environment for that show in a way,” Noth said.
