Missing Man Recovered From Reservoir

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – The body of a missing man was pulled from Blackfoot Reservoir Saturday. Richard Scherbel of Blackfoot is presumed to have drowned after falling out of his boat Sept. 15.
The 52-year-old’s body was located in the same area of the lake that two other people drowned in earlier this summer. Prior to this year, there hadn’t been any drownings at the reservoir for nearly two decades.
Officials are considering it an accident, and no further investigation will be conducted.
