Monarch Fire Investigation Delayed

(POCATELLO, ID) – Fire officials in Pocatello are still working to determine what caused the Monarch fire in Old Town earlier this month. Chief David Gates tells KPVI that unstable flooring and debris have slowed the investigation.
A structural engineer will soon decide whether or not the building should be torn down.
The First National Bar should be up and running again within the next two weeks. Renovation crews also hope to have power restored to the Paris building sometime later this week.
