Reports: Eva Mendes, Ryan Gosling Welcome First Child

Photo by Sonia Recchia/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Eva Mendes and longtime boyfriend Ryan Gosling reportedly have welcomed their first child.
According to Us Weekly and E! News, Mendes, 40, gave birth to a baby girl last Friday in Los Angeles. There are no other details about the newborn available yet.
Mendes, who never confirmed she was pregnant, side-stepped pregnancy rumors for the past year.
In February, she was evasive during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She told host Ellen DeGeneres that the baby rumors started after she, “didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport.” Mendes explained, “You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there’s a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal patdown.”
Gosling, 33, and Mendes have reportedly been dating off and on since September 2011, according to E!
