“CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, F**k you! Y’all are sad for penalizing me for this,” the singer tweeted Tuesday. “The audacity…,” she added.

A rep for her label, Roc Nation, added in a separate statement, “Due to the misuse and misrepresentation of Rihanna’s name and participation in connection to CBS’ TNF [Thursday Night Football], CBS was not allowed to license and utilize the song ‘Run This Town.'”

You may recall that last week, because Ray Rice’s team, the Baltimore Ravens, were playing on Thursday Night Football, CBS canceled its plans to use “Run This Town.” This was in response to an outcry from fans who argued that a song by a victim of domestic violence — that would be Rihanna — shouldn’t be used to introduce a team whose roster included a player accused of the same crime.

In a statement to ABC News, CBS Sports said, “Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our Thursday Night Football open. We will be using our newly created Thursday Night Football theme music to open our game broadcast.”
