Sheriff Warns of Facebook Scam

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland is warning eastern Idaho residents about a Facebook scam.
People have complained about receiving Facebook messages from someone named “Agent Cathy McMorris.” The scammer promises to send $100,000 or $200,000 to people who send her over $1,000.
Rowland is advising people to delete or block the scammer immediately and to avoid any contact with them.
