Amanda Bynes’ Mother Granted Conservatorship

Dave Kotinsky/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Amanda Bynes’ mother has been named the conservator of the actress, who’s currently in a California psychiatric facility on an involuntary hold.
People magazine reports a court granted Lynn Bynes control over her daughter’s estate on Oct. 22.
The petition for the conservatorship stated that the 28-year-old actress had exhibited erratic behavior prior to the hold, and had been “spending large amounts of her savings.”
Bynes was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold for the second time nearly three weeks ago. A judge extended the hold by 30 days on Monday.
Bynes’ mom previously held a conservatorship over her daughter last year, after Amanda was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold.
