Arrest Made after Shooting Threat on Facebook

(REXBURG, ID) — The Rexburg Police Department has a person in custody Monday morning after a shooting threat was made on social media.
Police say the suspect posted on Facebook that he would “shoot up BYU-I Monday.” The threat is being described as a bad joke and not considered serious.
BYU-Idaho officials are assuring students that everything will be secure and normal as they head to classes on Monday.
