George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin Honeymooning in the Seychelles

Ernesto Ruscio/GC Images(NEW YORK) — George Clooney and his new bride Amal Alamuddin are honeymooning on North Island in the Seychelles, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, a source tells The Telegraph.
The exotic location boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and luxury villas in the world, and is also touted for its privacy.
“We want people, famous or not, to be able to relax on their holiday,” Alain St. Ange, the tourism minister for Seychelles, tells the British newspaper, adding, “They shouldn’t have to worry about being spied upon.”
Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, aren’t the only famous couple to pick the lush, secluded location as their honeymoon destination. Prince William and Kate Middleton, Selma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault and Brad Pitt and then-wife Jennifer Aniston also honeymooned in the Seychelles.
