(POCATELLO, ID) – The Islamic Society of Southeast Idaho is dropping charges against a former landlord who threw away dozens of copies of the Quran.

Spokesman Daniel Hummell tells the Idaho State Journal that the organization will not seek further action against Elaine Budge, who owns the group’s old office space near Albertson’s.

Budge cleaned out the space after the group opened up a new mosque on South 5th Avenue. Hummell says he still paid rent for the month of October at the old location, leaving several books and tax documents behind.

Budge says she mistakenly assumed that the group had moved out permanently because of a sign posted on the door.
