ISP Make Major Pot Bust

(MERIDIAN, ID) The Idaho State Police announced Monday that they seized 150 pounds of Marijuana over the weekend worth more than a half a million dollars. They made the bust on Interstate 84 in Meridian early Saturday morning.
A 48-year-old Florida man was transporting the drugs when he stopped to sleep while waiting for road construction to finish. A trooper smelled the marijuana and found it after searching the car. The man was booked in the Ada county jail.
The pot was from Washington state and was travelling through Idaho en route to the eastern United States.
