Man Steals Copper Pipe from Idaho Falls
Published at | Updated at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Iona man has been linked to the theft of copper copper from the Idaho Falls Water Department. Kendall Quinton was arrested this week on a warrant for felony grand theft.
Quinton, who is a former city employee, reportedly took an estimated 2,600 pounds of copper pipe over a two-year period. The material was going to be recycled, and 54-year-old Quinton did not have authorization to take it.
The estimated cost of the various pieces is more than $5,600.
