Female Suicide Bomber Kills at Least 13 in Nigeria
Published at(AZARE, Nigeria) — At least 13 people were killed and 65 others injured Sunday when a female suicide bomber blew herself up in a market in Azare, Nigeria, police said.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the deadly blast, but the Islamist militant group Boko Haram is believed to be behind the attack.
Local residents said the suicide bomber entered the market around 5:50 p.m. local time, accompanied by two men, one of whom was killed by an angry mob after the blast, a witness told AFP.
