Israeli Soldier Stabbed in Tel Aviv

iStock/Thinkstock(JERUSALEM) — Tensions increased in the Middle East on Monday as an Israeli soldier was critically wounded after being stabbed at a train station in Tel Aviv.
A Palestinian man in his 20s has been arrested, according to police. The suspect is a resident of the West Bank city of Nablus.
In a separate incident on Monday, three Israelis were stabbed near a cluster of settlements in the West Bank. Israeli media report a teenage girl was killed.
Police say the attacker in this incident was shot by a security guard. It is unclear if the suspect is dead.
Both attacks follow a weekend of violent clashes after Israeli police shot and killed a young Israeli Arab man on Friday in what his family says was a racist attack.
The growing number of attacks and the sky-high tension in Israeli and Palestinian territories has many afraid the region could be on the cusp of widespread conflict.
