NFL Announces Bills’ Game Won’t Be Played in Buffalo

Scott Boehm/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Due to the extreme blizzard that’s hit the Buffalo area, the NFL announced Thursday that the Sunday’s Bills game against the New York Jets would be moved to another city.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports the game will be played Monday night in Detroit at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
The Buffalo area has been hammered with at least six feet of snow which has stopped the Bills from holding practice Wednesday and Thursday.
According to Bills’ officials, every foot of snow that falls in and around the teams’ stadium takes three days to remove. It is estimated that the stadium currently has four feet of snow in it — and another two feet is expected to fall before it’s all over.
