Poppy Montgomery Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

The Unforgettable star and her husband, Microsoft executive Shawn Sanford, welcomed a son, Gus Monroe Deveraux Sanford, on Tuesday, her rep told People. He weighed 7 lbs., 4 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.
“Mom and baby are doing well,” the rep said in a statement.
This is the couple’s second child together. Their daughter, Violet Grace, is 19 months old. Montgomery also has a 6-year-old son, Jackson, from a previous relationship, and Sanford has two children from a previous marriage.
Montgomery, 42, announced this past July that she was expecting a boy.
“I’ve been hiding it until this very moment,” she said during appearance on Late Show with David Letterman. “I’ve been filming my show! I’ve been doing all my stunts and running and leaping, but I haven’t told anybody because I didn’t want them to treat me differently, but I do [want some special treatment]. I want people to give me their seats. I want them to open doors.”
