Mark Sanchez took over and led the Eagles to a high-flying 31-21 victory over the Texans.

Sanchez entered the game and immediately led the Eagles on a scoring drive.  On his first play he connected with Jeremy Maclin for a 52-yard gain.  A few plays later he found rookie Jordan Matthews for his first touchdown pass since December 2012.

The former first-round pick of the New York Jets finished the day 15-22 for 202 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Aiding the effort was the Eagles defense, as they harassed Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, sacking him four times and intecepting him once.

The Eagles are now 6-2 with an upcoming matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football.
