From hospital staff to fire department responders, there were 114 people involved in the care of Dr. Craig Spencer, who was released from Bellevue Hospital in New York last month, free of Ebola.

All of those workers have now passed the 21-day monitoring period, and the health department here praised them for giving Spencer “the best care possible” and for doing it safely.

Overall, the city is still actively monitoring 222 people who arrived within the past 21 days from the four Ebola-affected countries.
