NASA Announces Scheduled Launch for Next Cargo Mission
Published at | Updated at(NEW YORK) — A fifth SpaceX cargo mission to the International Space Station is scheduled for early next month.
According to NASA, the launch, scheduled for 6:18 a.m. on Jan. 6, 2015, will take place at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. After an issue occurred during a Dec. 16 static fire test of the Falcon 9 rocket, NASA says the new scheduled launch will “ensure proper sun angles for thermal and operational conditions.”
The rocket is expected to reach the space station on Jan. 8 with its cargo of supplies.
