Jennifer Lopez Officially Gets Her Last Name Back

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Jennifer Lopez officially has her old name back, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
It seems J-Lo legally changed her name to Jennifer Muñiz in 2004 after she married then-husband Marc Anthony, whose birth name is Marco Muñiz.
The couple filed for divorce in 2012, but it wasn’t finalized until this past June.
According to court documents, the 45-year-old “Booty” singer remained Muñiz until Dec. 31, when her name legally reverted back to Jennifer Lopez.
Lopez will return as a judge on American Idol, along with Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. when the show returns for its 14th season on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Fox.
