Police identified the suspect as Joshua Anthony Silva, 24. ABC affiliate ABC 4 Utah reported that police responded to Zions Bank at about 10 a.m. local time on Thursday. After chasing and arresting the suspect, they found wires coming from his vest, calling in a bomb squad to investigate.

A robot from the Salt Lake City Police Department’s Hazardous Device Unit contacted Silva, removing the vest and allowing officers to take him into custody without incident.
