Missouri Stays Close to Home, Recruits Terry Beckner Jr.

ThinkStock(NEW YORK) — The No. 2 recruit in the country is headed to Missouri. Defensive tackle Terry Beckner Jr. decided to stay close to home and sign with the Tigers on Wednesday.
The East St. Louis (Ill.) High School was emotional after he made his announcement in which he chose the Tigers over Ohio State, Auburn, and Florida State.
“I just followed where my heart told me to go,” he said after the announcement.
Beckner Jr. said that he is “excited” to play under head coach Gary Pinkel next year.
The Tigers are known for great defensive lineman that include Sheldon Richardson, Michael Sam, and Aldon Smith.
