The former Florida governor leads more than a dozen other potential contenders with 16 percent, followed by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul at 13 percent, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker at 12 percent and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at ten percent.

The rest of the field only pulls up single digits, which holds the first-in-the-nation primary on January 26, 2016.

New Hampshire can sometimes be a bellwether for the rest of the primary season although some candidates who win in the Granite State often don’t become their party’s standard bearer.

Meanwhile on the Democratic side, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would have little problem winning New Hampshire based on the poll numbers that show her with 56 percent support among the party faithful.

In second place at 15 percent is Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has said repeatedly she’s not a candidate for president.  Vice President Joe Biden, who says he’ll announce his plans later this year, and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent, are each tied with eight percent.
