(NEW ORLEANS, La.) — Amid Darren Sharper’s legal proceedings for rape accusations a former teammate has been accused of spiking drinks.

Sharper’s former New Orleans teammate Reggie Bush has been implicated by a co-defendant for dropping ecstasy in women’s drinks in a Las Vegas nightclub several years ago.

Brandon Liccardi, who is also being charged with multiple counts of rape, says he witnessed Bush, now a member of the Detroit Lions, drug multiple women, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate.

According to the indictment Liccardi stated:

“OK, um, I was in Vegas about three years ago and um, Reggie Bush put Molly in Champagne. He was handing out ‘Molly’ on the dance floor to girls. Handing it out. Like giving it to them,” Licciardi said.

“And how do you know that?” asked James O’Hern, an investigator for the DA’s Office.

“[Because] I saw it with my own eyes,” Licciardi responded.

Sharper and his co-defendants face charges across multiple states, including Arizona and California.

Bush denies the allegations.
