Obama Tweets About Ferguson Police Shooting
Published at(WASHINGTON) — Before departing for California Thursday, President Obama personally tweeted about the two police officers who were shot in Ferguson, Missouri, overnight.
“Violence against police is unacceptable. Our prayers are with the officers in MO. Path to justice is one all of us must travel together. –bo,” Obama wrote.
The “-bo” at the end of the tweet signifies that it was sent from the president.

The two officers were shot in Ferguson amid protests in front of the police department. Both have since been released from the hospital.
The search for the suspect or suspects is ongoing.
While in California, Obama will attend a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel Show and then a Democratic fundraiser event.
