Police respond to “out of control” man at EIRMC

IDAHO FALLS — Police were called to East Idaho Regional Medical Center on Sunday for a report of an out of control man in the emergency room.

Police say 19-year-old Zachary Anderson walked into the hospital and became combative with workers. Security was called and, according to officers, Anderson was carrying a marijuana pure and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

Investigators report Anderson failed to comply with officers’ and was taken into custody. According to police, he admitted to smoking marijuana and had 37 Oxycodone pills without a prescription.

Anderson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant.
