SXSW 2015: Mophie Dogs Are Superheroes of the Festival

iStock/Thinkstock(AUSTIN, Texas) — Adorable dogs have been turned into superheroes at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas — rescuing the tech-dependent attendees when their smartphone batteries are about to die.
Festival goers who tweet their location, a screenshot of their low battery and the hashtag #mophierescue may have a rescue dog save the day for them by bringing along a mophie power pack to help breathe life back into their devices.
Working with the Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation, mophie added the service to not only help the crowd on hand in Austin for the festival, but to also raise awareness about the superhero dogs who need loving homes.
