(CARSON, Ca.) — As the NFL moves towards its inevitable return to the Los Angeles media market, as many as three teams have interest in relocating.

A financial report has concluded that the proposed $1.7 billion stadium in Carson, California would require two teams in order to be a profitable venture.

As the Chargers and Raiders negotiate with San Diego and Oakland respectively for new stadium deals in their current markets, both teams have made it known of their interest to relocate to Los Angeles.

The report discovered that if one team were to play in the stadium the city of Carson budget would face, “annual fiscal losses in most of the first 30 years.”

The Rams are currently the frontrunner to be the first team to move to Los Angeles, as owner Stan Kronke is moving forward with plans to build a stadium in Inglewood.
