Now in his seventh season with the Pacers, Hibbert’s performance has slipped considerably this year. Never much of a scorer, Hibbert averaged 10.6 points per game this season, the lowest mark since his rookie year.

The Pacers have stated they will try to change their playing style next season, head coach Frank Vogel says Hibbert’s place with the team is in question.

“We’ll have to see how it all plays out and what the roster ultimately looks like but there’s a possibility that Roy’s role will be diminished, if we’re trying to play faster and trying to play smaller,” Vogel said, via Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star. “But a lot of stuff is going to happen this summer, we’ll see how the roster shapes out coming into next season.”

Hibbert has averaged 11.1 points, 6..8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game during hsi time with the Pacers.
