Kersey/Getty Images(CHICAGO) — Kansas City Royals’ outfielder Lorenzo Cain, who was among those suspended by Major League Baseball following the brawl between his team and the Chicago White Sox, says the bad blood between the two teams has been resolved.

Six players overall, including Cain, were suspended by Major League Baseball for a total of 26 games as a result of the scuffle.

“I think we got all our emotions out that night and I think it’s over and done with,” Cain said. “I think we’re going to try to go out here and go back to just playing baseball and leave it at that.”

“It shouldn’t have escalated to that point in the first place,” Cain added. “Once it gets to that point, it’s up to them to decide on the suspensions.”

Cain received a two-game suspension for his role in the brawl, but is currently appealing.
