Ben Affleck’s Batman Fighting Jared Leto’s Joker in “Suicide Squad”?

ABC/Craig Sjodin(LOS ANGELES) — Ben Affleck’s Batman faced off against Jared Leto’s Joker on the set of Suicide Squad, though it’s not clear if the actors themselves were part of the action.

In pictures on Twitter and from the set, Batman is clearly on top of the Joker’s car, trying to take down the villain and his accomplice Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie. This is the first time the two adversaries will appear in a major motion picture since The Dark Knight in 2008.

During the day, the film’s director, David Ayer, posted a note to Twitter, saying, “I believe in old school filmmaking. Real stunts. Real people. Real places. It makes all the difference on the screen. Thank you #Toronto.”

Suicide Squad hits theaters in August of 2016. It also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.
