Blackhawks Trade Saad in Seven-Player Deal

Photo by Dave Sandford/NHLI via Getty Images(CHICAGO) — The Chicago Blackhawks traded forward Brandon Saad to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday as part of a seven-player trade.
Saad, 22, has tallied 52 goals and 74 assists in 208 career regular-season games. He will become a restricted free agent.
Saad, forward Alex Broadhurst and defenseman Michael Paliotta were sent to Columbus in exchange for forwards Artem Anisimov, Mark Dano, Jeremy Morin, Corey Tropp and a 2016 draft pick.
Saad chipped in eight postseason goals and three assists in the Blackhawks’ run to the Stanley Cup title this year.
