Tom Brady Outcome Expected in September
Published at | Updated at(NEW YORK) — The NFL and the player’s union have agreed it’s “in everyone’s best interest” for Tom Brady to know beforehand whether he can be the starting quarterback when the Patriots open for the regular season on September 10.
The union wants a federal judge in New York to vacate Brady’s suspension.
The league wants its punishment over deflated footballs affirmed.
There was talk of a temporary injunction to let Brady play until the court fight is resolved but both sides agreed to work things out so the judge can rule by September 4.
